Why I build this way.
A carpenter makes things people use every day. A nomad isn't bound to one place or one schedule. I started NomadCarpenter to live that way — free from the limits of time and place, with the autonomy to build what I believe is worth building.
The plan is simple. Build one app at a time. Ship it, listen to the people who use it, and make it a little better with every release. Each build teaches me something, and that lesson goes into the next one.
Prend was the first: a place where photos compete by theme and the crowd decides, one head-to-head vote at a time. OneToRise came next, because I needed it myself — one promise made at night, kept the next day, until a habit adds up to a mountain. Aloom is what I'm building now.
A very small company can make real products today. I work with AI tools, Claude among them, as a real part of the team. I want to share this journey in the open — the hard parts as much as the wins — so that anyone walking a similar road might find something useful in it.
Whatever this work earns, a tenth of it goes to children who can't get an education. My quiet prayer is that this small company, and my life with it, can be a little salt and light in the world.
